At Lantana, your safety and satisfaction is our highest priority. On June 19, we announced a voluntary recall of one of our products: White Bean Hummus with Pine Nuts. Our supplier of pine nuts notified us of the possibility that the pine nuts we use in this product could be contaminated with listeria (a type of bacteria). You can learn more about the recall at FDA.gov.

How do you know if your product is affected? If you have a container of White Bean Hummus with Pine Nuts, double check that the UPC bar code is 8-96863-00143-4. If it has an expiration date between Jun 19 and Aug 15, 2017, it falls within the recall range. Please do not consume this product.

Please note that no other Lantana hummus products are being recalled. Just White Bean Hummus with Pine Nuts (UPC 8-96863-00143-4).

Although Lantana had not received complaints or reports of illness associated with the pine nuts, we are coordinating with the FDA and out of an abundance of caution, we are recalling this product.

At Lantana, food safety is our #1 priority every day. We test our ingredients as they come in, and we test our finished products before they go out the door. Not one has tested positive for listeria.
